amp gain

max watts has nothing to do with the gain being turned all the way up
Well if you have a sub that takes 2x+ RMS watts and an amp that puts out x RMS at the same impedance as the sub's load you theoretically won't blow the sub no matter the gain setting.

You can blow a sub by sending it a clipped signal below its rms.

Please read the gain setting tutorial, and turn the bass boost off.

Change your LPF to ~80hz, not 140 (approx)

i have a profile audio 400MSX mono amp pushing a MAW12 @2ohms, i have everything on the amp up. bass boost, level meter, and the Hz range. is that bad? bass on the HU is at 0.
no clue. from a first glance i'd say you did not read the manual or make even cursory attempts to determine how to operate the amplifier. if that offends you and is true, then it is bad.

my guess is that the sound is very, well, prominant and bass heavy. and that you have the volume setting on the HU set quite low.

reducing gain would allow you to get the same results, just at a higher setting on the HU. that would allow you to choose what setting things get loud at.

the lowpass will filter out some of the midbass and vocals, adjust it to taste.
