amp fuses blowing trying to play 32hz sine wave

why can i play regular music with no problems but when i try to play a 32hz sine wave that i downloaded off of realmofexcursion it instantly blows the 2 30amp fuses on the amp? i don't even have to turn it up at all (maybe 25/60) and it still blows, but i can crank up regular music to 45/60 with no problems and it hammers??? i don't get it.

sine waves have quite a bit more bass than a normal song does. Do you ever notice how most people hit higher numbers with sine waves rather than music.

kenwood 9102d amp (supposed to be 1ohm stable)

2 4ohm alpine type-r 12in subs in a 4.4cuft vent ported enclosure tuned at 32hz

the subs are both wired to 2ohm so that gives me 1ohm at the amp.

yeah, all the type-r's are DVC that i know of... they come in dual 2ohm or dual 4ohm configurations.

Well if your subs are wired to 1ohm, it is possible that at 32hz the impedence drops below 1ohm.....and since it's a tone you could be trying to force the amp to run below 1ohm for too long.

how does the impedance move from what it is wired to no matter what tone or music is being reproduced?

A voice coil is not a resistor, it's an inductor. So as the frequency changes the impedence changes....usually rises towards higher frequencies but at some point it'll fall below the coil resistance.
