ok i have 2 10s kicker cvxs there 600rms dual 2 ohms each.. here is the amp im using

http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_428_Kenwood+KAC-8101D.html

right now on the sub red and black together then then red and black with the white dots going to the terminal.. for both subs then bridged.. the fuse blows after 30secs and amp goes to protect mode but i got this weird metal block lookin fuse now it doesnt blow as fast but still cuts out on me all the time, whats the deal here? i know there not gettin enough power prolly 200 watts each how should i wire them together and to the amp?

Check the impedance of each series speaker, make sure it is 4 ohms (it should read like 3.5-3.8 ohms actually)

Then wire these in parallel so it is + to + and to the + terminal of the amp, and - to the - , and then the - to amp. See what the total impedance REALLY is, not the guesstimate.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crazy.gif.c13912c32de98515d3142759a824dae7.gif

Just double check to make sure. I would also try running just one woofer at 4 ohms and see what happens. Does it work OK?? Or???

Obviously a LOT of current is being draw if the fuse is blowing. Also, check DC volts "IN" at the power terminal at no level and at high levels.

Again, just to see where you really are at. Write all of it down so you have a reference.

Typically I only see fuses blow if:

1. To small a guage wire, either + or -

2. Woofer impedance is very low and gains are set high.

(amp is trying to do 600 watts and it is a 400 watt amplifier, etc)

3. Amp has a bad FET in power supply or near shorted audio output transistor

Love to hear what comes of your little voltage & impedance checking.

Without doing this, its all "Magic Shit" - lightning strikes in the dark stuff

as I like to say...... who F$#KING knows!

I can theorize, but........
