I have a Pioneer GM-5300T Bridgeable amp. I tried to bridge it with 1 sub, but when I did that the sub would only occasionally hit. Both channels work, just not the bridge...
sounds like a channel is intermittently working and not working or you have too low of ohms to properly run bridged. i have the same amp laying around and one of my subs reads 3.5 ohms on my meter and that amp hates that speaker. yet the rf p2 i had read 4.3 on the meter and it banged.
I bought this system from my brother, and he was able to bridge it with that sub which made it hit hard. Its an Insignia sub that I am trying to run. I dont have a model number or anything so I know nothing about the sub. I hooked it up in my car and it made a higher pitched noise when I tried running them.
i think insignia's are all single 4 ohm's so it might be the amp. or the sub. that amp does 380 bridged and i believe the insignia subs only handle 200
