amp fried? or am i dumb

my amp stoped working... it went into protection mode but every like 3 or 4 seconds it goes green for like half a second and the sub hits when its green... i only have the ground/power/and turn on wire hooked up... am i doing something wrong or is it time to buy a new amp:crying: ...thanks for your help

check your power connections, sounds like its may not getting enuff power

well its hooked up 2 the battery... but i cant really see all the wire because its all under the carpet... so ur sayin it could be loose and it wouldnt be getting enough power

Check your ohm load. It sounds like its too low. My four channel JL amp went in and out of protect when i had the ohm load too low.

could be all the things mentioned above and could be it overheating. first go check and see if its really hot when it goes into protection. then check your ohm load. next get something to check the current your getting. then check grounds.
