would 800 watts a sub be overpowering them? i want them to be loud but not so loud that i cant hear the actual lyrics since i do not have component speakers yet

cough. Lanzar Opti2000D cough. 2000 watts and u can run it at .5 ohms where u want to run those subs.

you can have my kicker sx 1250.1 for 415 shipped and run it at .5 for around 2500 i know people running them at .5 they dont rec it but i know people doing it daily with no problems I have not done it with mine because i dont need too lol but if I had to I would

The Orion is a great amp, but it isn't "better" than the kicker.
