Amp for Type R's

what voice coil configuration on the subs?

srry they're 2 ohm but i did use the search option but i get an error everytime

you need a 2 ohm stable amp so that limits your choices. try a PG tantrum 1200.1, rockford 1501BD, mtx 1501D, jbl 1201.1, or for a little more power try a crossfire vr2000D (totally awesome amp) or a lanzar opti2000D (0.5 ohm stable)

Why didnt you get the 4 ohm subs and then get an amp and run it to 1 ohm?

How is that an advantage? Why would you tell him to get DVC 2's and wire it to .5 ohms on a 1 ohm stable amp?

b/c a 1ohm stable amp can run at .5ohm, thats like saying you cant run a 2ohm stable amp at 1ohm....
