Neither speaker needs or possibly will even take the power quoted so don't concern yourself with that.

Do you have some type of crossover for the tweeter at least? or do you need an amp with active crossovers?

I didn't think they would.. I don't believe he is using a crossover so these speakers just sound like a time bomb to be honest. He is absolutely dead set on them for some unknown reason so I'm just trying to help him out a little, even though there is so much wrong.

At the very least get him some caps to keep from blowing the tweeters if they don't have some kinda protection themselves.

As for finding an amp for $200, to power all of that....good luck with the ratings you quoted...unless thats 200 per amp.

I think I'm just going to close this threat now to be honest. Unrealistic goal with the budget. He's being a cheap ace, and doesn't want to be mainstream so is finding his own woofers and tweeters. How he plans on fitting those 10's in his door I have no clue.

10" woofers with super tweeters is a terrible idea.

I've actually heard it. I had a video of it.

I remember how the guy had it all hooked up but he'll need more than 200 bucks for an amp.

He could do a couple Boston GT2125s for about 200

125 x 2 @ 4 ohms, should be plenty
