Says the guy spouting off personal insults through the entire thread. Here's your link posted by Jacob the owner of Sundown showing their clamp results. SAZ-2500D Pre-Sale OPEN * ETA is End of July 2010 * - Car Audio Classifieds. I've seen enough other clamps to know that it really depends on the accuracy of the equipment being used to run the test. I posted the lowest clamp that I saw, which happened to be 2 sundown 2500s not strapped, but gain matched as to not damage the subs coils. Strapping or not strapping amps has nothing to do with anything other than the impedance is shared between the amps, as well as the rise they each see. I do not have any efficiency numbers to show.

I would beg to argue the differences between the saz efficiency at 1 ohm rated output and the ZX efficiency at 2 ohm rated output. I would bet the difference is more in the 10-15% range, But conveniently, neither one of those figures are readily available for either one of us to support. Now, there is one little factoid available that you mentioned. The SAZ is rated for 250a fusing and 86% efficiency with 600 watts at 4 ohms....the ZX, on the other hand is rated for 300a fusing and claims 90% efficiency with 1200 watts at 4 ohms....how does that twist u noodle?

you just put yourself in a hole the kicker 300amps of current 26**watts at two ohm = not as efficient as the sundowns 250amps of current 29**watts at 1 ohm the clamps are all over and u posted the kicker birthsheet so you do the math and tell me which its more efficient
