Amp for RE SX 12

I am trying to choose an amp for a Dual 2ohm SX 12. It is 1000W. It can be wired to either 1 or 4 ohm.

Instead of running one amp to the sub could I run two, and put a single amp on each coil. I was thinking of using Alpines MRP-M500.

My other thought was trashing all that.

Getting a kicker ZX1000.1 and a 12" FiQ

Any thoughts?

u could if u set the gains to match exactly on each coil

or just pick up a hifonics bxi1608d pretty cheap good amps that will pound that sx and is a mono 1 ohm

u got the sx already? pm if u want to sell it so i can have 4 again
