i power mines with a alpine pdx 1.600. giving it 600 rms.

I would like to keep the price relatively low...but i want the amplifier to take a beating...i will never purchase another alpine amplifier again...i go full tilt all day long and they cant handle it

trying to be cheap and find an amp to take a beating is like drining vineager with sugar. it don't mix right. my suggestion is a good 600-750 watt amp.

Id reccomend the ID Q600.1 or a jl 500/1

if you went with an ID 1200.1 you could always expand later. at two ohms you'll get about 800 watts just watch your gain and volume control then later you could add another and have 1200 watts at 1 ohm //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif
