I'm shopping for an amp to run 2 sets of component mids/highs, 5 1/4 (50W) and 6 1/2 (70W).

I want to spend less than $200. Anyone have any suggestions for the highest sound quality amp to mate with these?

For under $200....check out Profile Clarus series. They aren't the best amps but they aren't bad either. I would agree with Stones on the Kenwood amps, but I used an under $200 Pioneer amp for my mids and highs and I wasn't real impressed.

Thanks for the input guys!

Anyone have experience with US Acoustics lower end Phoenix Gold amps?

jaylee phoenix gold or ppi would make good amps

to use or you could save your money until you

get $350.00 dollars then get a precision power

440 or a kicker zr460 both of these amps have

built in crossover

Haha. Just noticed a typo I made. Meant to ask if anyone had experience with US Acoustics OR the lower end Phoenix Gold amps.

Don't get a class d amp class d amps are highly recommended for subs get a class a with a decent amount of watts like say alpine the clarity sound quality is great trust me.
