Amp for IA Death Penalty

Im going to be getting a IA Death Penatly 15" in the next month and need to figure out which amp to get for it .

Does anyone know a good amp to run with this sub?

Or can you recommend one?

aren't DPs DVC2 so you would need an amp that puts out its power at 1 ohm?

Yes DP's are dual 2. Anything from 800w's to what ever you want to put on them. They will take anything you put on them but if you go higher then 1200 you will void the warrenty. They are also still on back order last I talked with Nick so unless your getting one used, get ready to wait in line...

so if you shouldnt put more than 1200 watts to it, what amp will work well? i have the JBL 1201.1 but it its 1114 at 2 ohms. i dont think it will work

I dont think DPs are in stock.

they have been out of stock for quite some time now.

there are so many, look for something with some serious power that is stable at 1 ohm and you will be fine
