Amp For FUBR-12

Well, since i cant figure out my problems with my amp now. I guess i'm going to buy a new one. Anyone know a good Amp for 2 FUBR-12's? They are 700 rms a piece and are dual 2 ohm voice coil. Look in the BST forums... I am sure you can find something. Give me a minute and I'll check it out. But I doubt you arent going to find an amp thats puts out 1400w RMS at 2 or .5 ohms for that price. Whats the RMS on your current amp?

try looking into ikesound, i beileve they had a viper 1200.1 around 200 dollars, it does about 1200 at 1 ohm that should give you 500-600 watts of power to each assuming that the subs are dual 4 ohm...

That would be a decent buy, I doubt if it would do the 1400 RMS though. But that thread is 2 months old, so I doubt he still has it... Worth a PM though.

How would an Infinity Reference 1211a sound? Can get it about 300 on ebay.

You need to remember though that the FUBRs are overrated in the power handling department.
