amp for cdt-61a's

what is the best amp to use for the CDT-61a's I need a fairly cheap one such as a profile.

Would you say that one would be better than the other

currently I am leaning toward USX2100 is this better chioce than the profile?

Thats what I'd choose if it came down to US Acoustics vs Profile in this case.

just get the ca400. 100x2 at 4 ohms with a high pass filter.

I too am looking for an amp for the cdt-61a's. Would the aforementioned amps be able to handle front and rear speakers if I got a pair in of cdt-61a's in the front and rear? Also, are these true watt? The guy at car toys told me that these cheaper amps aren't true watts. True wattage would cost about a buck per watt, he said. Thanks

Back to the components ... you would only need one set of the CL-61a's up in the front. You can leave nothing in the rear, or use coaxial back there if you feel you need something for rear fill. One amp for the component set is fine ... you can either run the rear fill off of the head unit, or get a 4 channel or another small 2 channel for them.
