Amp for Boston Pro 50's

yea but niether of thoes run a 3ohms do they
the phoenix gold puts out rated power at 1 through 4 ohms, so it'll put out its rated power at 3 ohms //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

idk bout the diamond though, if its stable at 2 ohms, its stable at 3 ohms, be running a lil more than 125 rms to the set, but it should be clean power.

Would it be better to buy an amp that would underpowerer them at 100w a piece or overpower them at 150-200w?
honestly, i'd go with the bigger amp, the diamond, less likely to have the gain turned up high then, usually the more power, the easier to control
