Amp for around $50

Well I got my sub in hooked it all up and everything just to find out that my amp took a crap on me. It was a old pos but it would have worked for now. want something that can push 400+ rms at either 1 or 4 ohms. The more watts the better of course. The best deal Ive found is a older rockford fosgate 225.2 for $75. That should push 600+rms on a stock electrical system. Is that the best deal Ill be able to find? Anybody know where I could get decent amps for cheap?

ya, id go with the older fosgate, its probably a little under rated and should be fine at 1 ohm

yea, don't be worried if the older fosgate is getting extremely hot they do that, my buddy has an old one rated at like 300 watts but it has to push at least 800-900 and it freaking burns to the touch.

O Scope, no clipping i beleive he is running 2 infinity references and they have held up under the abuse for 5 months.

so you think i should go with the older rockford fosgate for the price and the power? It has a x-card crossover are they just as good as the newer crossovers?

Yes, if that's a true 600w rms and you can get it, grab ahold of it bro

I've got an amp that is around 225-250 rms for 50 shipped, but you're honestly probably better off the with Fosgate
