Amp for a Magnum D2

Just ordered a magnum D2 and was wondering what a good amp to power it would be. I have a Concept 2002 which will do 800rms @ 4ohm but I want to go with a better quality amp and at 2ohm this thing gets really hot even though it says it's 1 ohm stable. Any suggestions as far as amps go either 1 ohm or 4 ohm. I'm hearing the sub will do 1200rms easy so any help is appreciated.

matters how tight your budget is...

you might wanna look in the 1000+ watt amp thread... they have excelent choices...
