Amp for a 12" Type X?

hes gonna want to run atleast 1000wrms on it, i have read people say 1200+ to get it moving.

When i ran one i only had about 800watts, I wasnt to impressed with its SPL side but the SQ was great.

PDX 1000.1 is NOT 1 ohm stable.It is "D" class and digital.I don't know of any Alpine amps that are 1 ohm stable.Any one know of any Alpine amps that are?Please correct me.My 1000.1 or my 150x4 don't do the 1 ohm.....

AQ 1200 is $250 solid amp. makes power at 1 ohm though.
