Amp for 6.5" Components and a Single Sub?

If you're worried about trunk space and want to keep the budget limited I wouldn't even try and do a sub. The car does have a little potential though. Just replace the speakers and call it a day.

If you're ever ready to scrap that plan let me know. BTW ABC is high as hell for what you want. I can get to that Berwyn shop in like 15 minutes. The one further down on 16th and Harlem is even higher.

You are talking about Sound Design on Harlem, they will tell you to port the box through the rear deck which will take 2 days and 1 day to dry. Oh yeah for a cost of a little under 2000.

Yeah, foregoing the sub and just powering my components and some 6x9s is certainly still on the table, although I've gotten everything thus far at such awfully good prices that I'd like to see if I can give this a go. I'm more than open to suggestions for shops/people you think might be able to build what I'm looking for, including the guy you said is by Great America.

I was done with them when dude told me 800 for a 2 amp/1 sub setup and i brought ALL the equipment. Just not all of the know how. That is half the reason I got on here. Not really sure what 800 was gonna buy me, but I wasn't gonna pay and find out. It was basically just an amp setup. I had even already ran the remote for the amps. I just didn't know how to wire up the doors and he was gonna make a rack for my amps.

Send a message to (mlstrass). He has done a lot of boxes and can give you some better insight on your setup in regards to the music you listen to. He is into rock/metal, which doesn't really have those long bass lines and such.

Thanks for the SI Mag suggestion - after reading a review on here, sounds like what I'm looking for (was moving towards a Boston Pro 10.5LF), so I'll keep reading up on it.

And thanks again TF, I'll shoot him a message.
