Amp for 2 type-r 10's

OK, I've decided I def needa bigger amp for my type-r's. I'm currently running a BD500 at 1ohm, so maybe 600-650Wrms.... I am looking for AT LEAST 1000wrms.

The ones I've been looking at are the Fusion 2000, the Hifonics 1210 or 1610, the Audiopipe 1500, the Power Acousitc Gothic 2000W ..... etc....

I am looking to spend in the $200 price range. So far, the Audiopipe seems to be doing rated power, and it's very inexpensive.... I just don't like the looks at all. Looks wont make the decision, but it plays a part.

Thanx guys, and PLEASE dont start suggesting $300+ amps.... I DON'T have that much money right now....

Go with the Audiopipe.... I've heard they look better in person, but you can always hide an amp if you really think it's that ugly.

I wouldn't put less then 1000w rms to them for sure. I saw a sundown 1000d for 170$ in the classifieds. The Audiopipe 1500 should do well also.

I would really like to give em closer to 1500wrms than 1000wrms.... I've heard of a lot of people say the type-r's can hold some pretty serious power... Plus, I'm not sure I'm 100% sold on these two 10's, so I don't wanna buy a 1000wrms amp and then upgrade subs....

As soon as my system starts getting loud right now, I turn it up a little more and it starts clipping... this is wayyy more dangerous than running 1500 clean rms watts....

I have a kicker zx750.1 benchmarked at 928 hooked up to my 1 type R 12. I think the 12's and 10's rated the same. No problems yet

I had 2-12r's before but the 1 sounds much cleaner and hits just as hard.

So you might want to look at 1200-1500rms for an amp

Audioque 1200D is cheap and very nice.
