Im lookn for a 175 - 200x2 rms amp for the koda 8 's, perferebly with low thd. i saw one PX600.2 by jbl but it has 1% thd.. as compared to other compains like zapco and arc at .00*, i will probably be using it for fronts when their upgraded and then switching my RF 4 channel to a bridged 2 channel set up with the kodas, my fronts just cant handel 200rms right now. any sugestion would help..

zapco Z2K 3.0 150x2 rms a little to low on rms the next up is 300rm

Arc closest amp is 2500 stil over power 270 rms...

i need the amp to be able to take 8v inputs

If i bridge will i lose stereo effect on my rf also

Um, you really shouldn't be compairing the likes of Zapco and ARC to JBL. ALso, that 1% is at full power, the Kodas can't really handle 200 watts and you will push it to it's mechanical limits before you reach 184watts, especially in IB.

I also have 2 Koda 8s that I want to use as midbasses and I've decided to use the US amps Is-2150 as shown HERE . It's got lower THD than the JBL and puts out 200 watts RMS into 4 ohmms. It's also $220 dollars.

I don't quite understand the second part of your post. Are you saying that your going to bridge your 4 channel amp to drive some component speakers? Could you retype it.
