Amp for 2 Kicker Solobaric 10" L7's

I'm about to buy two of these subs.

I don't need bass that is unbelieveable but i want a good sound out of these subs.

I don't have alot of money to spare on a amp since money is tight right now..

What kind of amp would i need to power these? Like what must the amp allow in ohms and shit like that..

I'm new with all of us car audio stuff..

Please help!

What is the size of the box that you are going to have them in, and sealed or ported?

As for the ohm load, you will want an amp that puts out its max power at 2 ohms or .5 ohms, since you have only $200 to work with, you will not find anything that is .5ohm stable... That Pioneer amp should do you nicely, they make some solid amplifiers. In the right box, those L7's should get loud off only 300w each.

get DVC 4 ohm and buy an amp that runs at 1 ohm.

Well if you are getting that amplifier, then get the DVC 2 ohm, but if you are going for something else, then I would get the DVC 4 ohm so you can wire it to a 1 ohm load.

For a box, I would reccomend something designed and build specifically for your subwoofers, and not bought prefabricated. Many people on the forums will design you an enclosure (for a price), and many will build it for you if you are not one with the wood....

I would go for something fairly large, depending ont he space you have. The larger the box, the higher the efficiency, the less power it takes to reach full xmax. For two 10" L7's, I would try something that is around 3.5-4 cubic feet before displacment, and tune it somewhere in the mid to low 30's.

Also what amp for under 200 dollars can i get that i can wire to 1ohm load to get the kicker DVC 4ohm
