amp for 2 dd 1012's

hey i just picked up 2 1012's wuts a good amp to push them? budget would be close to 500. someone told me to get an amp around 1000 watts at 2 ohms but i dont know how much power these can handle really. whatever amp i get for the dd's, ill be gettin the same brand to power a set of slc's. i was lookin into the dd amps but i dont kno which one would be good for the subs and slc's.

i was lookin into the jbl bpx1100.1 will it do power at 2 ohms? im confused on what jbl says.

i have a zapco 1100.1 but it's more than 500... the one i have now is bnib...

btw its an 06

how do i know if the ones i have are 1012a's? i was thinkin of saving up more n gettin a bpx2200.1 cuz later on i might upgrade to 2512's.
