I have 2 12in diamond cm3´s rated at 500watts rms, right now I am powering them with a solid audio 1200watt amp. I´m sure the solid audio isn´t producing the full 1200 watts and my subs seem under powered. My question is what amp should I use to give my cm3´s a true 500 watts rms each. I would also like to spend under 400$ and have something reliable. Thanks

Hi guys, I'm here to completely spam the heck out of this site. You ask what is the best, and I just happen to supply a link to the online car audio site I own that is well overpriced and not authorized for many of the brands. I try and place these links so I don't get caught. Well, you got caught. Nice try, but it won't get by me.

I recommend the Diamond 1200.1 if your running a 1ohm load. It retails for aroud $900 but you should be able to get a deal on it. I got mine brand new for $500.
Diamond makes nice amps, but i really couldn't justify the 300 dollar price difference, assuming you can even find it for 500. If you have the money the diamond would be much more reliable than the jbl, but when you realize you could buy 2 jbls for the price of the diamond, whats the point.
