Amp for 15" Type R

Ok I am new to car audio, but I am for sure planning on buying a 15" Type R, either 2 or 4 ohm, and don't know what to get for an amp. I want to get the most out of my sub, so what would you people suggest for me??
Type R's are 4-ohm DVC (Dual Voice Coil) so that they can be wired in series or parallel to achieve either 8, 4, or 2 ohm loads. If you wire it in parallel then you can get 750 rms out of it.

I am partial to Sundowns, a SAZ-1500D will give 800 x 1 watts @ 2 ohms. Also if you decide to buy another Type R, you can run 750 x 2 at 1-Ohm with both of the Subs wired in Parallel.
