Amp for 12" RE XXX?

Right now I am really wanting a Sundown SAZ 3000D to run my XXX. I am just wondering it this is too much? I could preorder a 2000D but I was under the impression bigger is better, plus I figure a 3000D leaves me with more options if I change my setup.

What other amps would you guys suggest? Price range is... under $1000, I am also planning on running 2 XXX's (or other equals) at a later date.

3000d is too much. saz1500d would be fine for one. if ur gonna get 2 then get the saz-3000d now

its an 08, dual 2's. If I got the 3000 now would it kill/damage just one?

Also, this is my first system build, I was kind of hoping on running the same make of amps... I already have a SAE100.4. If there is a better choice for the XXX I would be willing to sell the Sundown and get a diff 4 channel

get that new saz-3500d since you have the newer XXX. be kind to the gains so you don't blow it. once you get another XXX you'll have plenty of power for the pair

Ehhh..... not for the pair. mine came alive with about 3k a piece. But anything below 2k just wasnt optimal

That would work, but personally I would go with a lil more power a piece. Like an orion 2500d or something along those lines, or a 5k+ amp

So, a 3000D would fit that bill? Then strapping when I upgrade... if I upgrade?
