Hey, I am getting a 12" Brahma and a Phoenix Gold Ti 1200.1 amp. The amp is only stable @ 2ohm which makes me run into a problem with the Brahma, because this sub is dual 2 ohm. The PG amp will only give the Brahma 600 watts @ 4ohms, which I really don't think is enough. I am really thinking about going sealed with this sub!!

My question is should I sell my PG Ti 1200 amp and get an amp that is 1 ohm stable and feed the brahma more power?? Or should I just give the Brahma 600?? (is that enough:confused: )

I was thinking about getting one of the following amps as a replacment:

- Better Audio 1600M (1600 watts @ 1 ohm)

- Lanzar Opti1000D (1000 watts @ 1 ohm)

- DEI 1100D (1100 watts @ 1 ohm)

- Hifonics Brutus BX 1500D (1500 @ 1 ohm)

Please let me know ALL of the comments and suggestions members have. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

i dont know if it is 1ohm stable but if it it i would go with the JBL 1200.1 amp. i havent personally heard it, but i hear great things about it all the time. some people are telling me they are getting 1400-1500 watts out of it. they say it is way underrated. check it out.

I also heard alot about the JBL amps, but i hear that the crossovers aren't that great //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/rolleyes.gif.c1fef805e9d1464d377451cd5bc18bfb.gif but they are a monster when it comes to power.

Also how much current do you guys think these amps will pull @ 1 ohm??//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/confused.gif.e820e0216602db4765798ac39d28caa9.gif

Hey, no double posting biatch!!!

Hehe, anyway, think about sticking with the PG amp, if you are sticking with the Brahma...

600 watts can make a Brahma reach full potential in the right enclosure...

LOL, I knew you would have your 2 cents to throw in on this topic biatch //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/furious.gif.fc81ca146dbff91fede3ed290dbc4f4c.gif

Sorry about the double post.
