amp filter?

im getting highs out of my sub and i was told that was bad. i wanted to know if there is some sort of filter or switch that stops that on my amp or hu?

you should have a "LP-AP-HP" switch on your amp.

LP = Low Pass. Allows only low freq to pass through to you subs

AP = All pass. Blocks nothing

HP = High pass. Allows only high freq to pass through to your subs

You will want to set your switch to LP
