I have a false floor, and my amp rack is covered by it. There is plexi to enclose the amps so they are completely sealed off. I have 2 fans that I have hooked up to a push button switch (I didn't like the idea of the fans being turned on when the HU was on, because the fans I have are so noisy, so I didn't want to go the remote/relay route (even thought I have a realy already wired up for multiple amp remote turn ons).
My question is this (I read through 3 pages of posts on a "fan" search and didn't find an answer that would work for me):
My amp rack goes from the left side of my trunk to the right side, and in the middle there is a huge space underneath the amp rack where the spare tire used to be. The ONLY place to mount the fans is in the middle of the amp rack where the back of the car contours out, leaving a space to attach 2 good size fans on the top of amp rack (same surface as the amps are mounted on)

Now, since heat rises, and there is no escape out of the false floor cover, I have the fans mounted to blow down into the spare tire area. The idea behind this is that the fans will **** the hot air out of the sealed amp rack and into the spare tire area.
Will this do any good?
I realize the best way would be to have one intake and one exhaust, but space is too tight on all of the other 3 sides of the amp rack to add any fans.
