amp distortion.

i have a kenwood aftermarket radio and i heard that after a certain point in volume on the stock radio and it does distort. but if i were to get a seperate 4 channel amp. it would fix the problem. so i got a 4 channel amp. and hooked it up and it still distorts! how do i fix this so the speakers dont distort?

get better speakers...you are exceeding the power handling of the speakers

So wait, are you using the kenwood or the factory radio right now? Well, either way, do what the person above said ^^^ Change the speakers. But it also could be the way you have your settings adjusted.
