Amp cuttin out around 18

I got 2 buddys that had this problem, we have no idea whats up. We were playin music, yea it was hittin purdy hard, but anyways, we'd play it, then try to turn it up and the sub would shut off(or really the amp). Like I said, around volume 18. And other times, it makes it to about 30. Help???

Are all your wires good and what wattage amp and how big of cables, could be your gain set way to high

you need a capacitor or some more batteries, you electrical is being drained.

try stepping on the gas to about 3000rpm and see if it does it still.
