Amp cuts out at higher RPM's

Ok ive recenlty put my MTX 1501D back in the trunk due to the subs wanting more then the Nine.1 could give them @ 2ohms.

Its plays fine when the car is just sitting, but if i rev then engine to around 2.5k RPMS or more the amp cuts out, completely. At idle its never cuts out unless theres some strong low bass going for a few minutes, but then it just cuts out for a sec and comes back strong.

It's a 2000 Mitsu. Galant w/ a stock 90amp alt and no charging system upgrades yet. Im gonna do the big 3 this weekend and see if that helps at all.

If anybody has had this problem i'd like to know what you did to fix it, thanks in advance.

you get dimming?

If i'm not mistaken... the car runs off the alt while it's on?? Don't wuote me...

And higher RPM..... more the alt spins...... not sure if that has anything to do with it.

Strengthen up ur electrical. Big 3 it, and see.

Yeah i get dimming like no other, the headlights **** near turn off.

Funny thing is even when the volume is a a moderate level it still cuts out when the RPMs exceed 2-2.5k

Alright, well clearly your abusing your electrical system. Turn down your gains, or turn it off until you build it up some.
