Amp crrrinnnkleee at low volumes

ok so this amp gets extremely distorted sometimes. When the volume on the HU is down, it sounds like death... cutting in and out real distorted. I've noticed that it doesn't do this a lot right when the system turns on, and maybe it gets worse when the amp gets heated up.

Its funny because it is exactly the same problem I had when I bought the amp, DOA, sent it in for a replacement. The only difference is that the amp was working fine for 3 weeks.

I've attached some pictures of the only thing that looked funny, the rails, I think they're called.

Technical, no... Descriptive, yes.

is it coming from the speakers like a static sound or directly out of the amp like crackling?

Speakers, think they're just blown?

play with the gain and see if moving it improves or causes more static
