keep it on whatever you set up the gains with. When setting your gains, you first set up your bass boost, THEN turn your gain knobs. After that, you shouldn't change anything unless you're turning it down - don't go above the settings you used to set the gains.

^ no. dont use ur bass boost and dont change eq settings til AFTER gain it set if you have a eq...
My bad, I was thinking of bass boost solely and typed EQ mindlessly. But I don't see why you would increase bass boost after setting your gains, I was under the impression you set it before hand if you must use it for what ever reason. Unless you mean don't set bass boost at all, which I agree with.

bass boost is a form of eq adjustment and shouldnt be touched until after gain setting. the bass boost should ONLY be used on sealed enclosures with low power. such as under 500rms and use only up to 6db of boost.

in spl it will make ur numbers drop....

i used the EQ on the deck should i kist leave that on flat? also id like my tweeters to be louder but i can unless i turn it up on my deck. that would be ok with doing that right?
