Amp crossovers or HU's

How does everyone dial in there system. Do you leave your hu flat and use the amps crossovers etc or do you use the setting on the HU? I have a 9855 and its got a ton of settings for crossovers, slopes, 8-24db, eq etc.

yea, i did some searching. *******.

just wondering if you match the crossover setting on the HU and the amp. I would think one would cancel out the other.
