I am looking for a new amp for my highs/mids. I want it to put out about 100rms x4 @ 4ohms. I am looking to spend less than $300. I need an amp that won't clip or make my tweeters cut out because its not clean enough. Here are some I've been looking at:

RF 801X 100rms x 4

RF 851x 110rms x 4

Please add some good amps that will put out the power I need and will not cut out and will be very clean. Thanks.

Anyone? Someone has offered me a MA Audio HK597 but I haven't heard anything about them really but I believe someone said they were a different sort of low end company that changed their name. Not quite sure.

Someone find me an amp //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif I really want something that puts out 125rms or so @ 4ohms with 4 channels and is reliable. And NO CLIPPING! Something around $250. Come on guys!

I don't know why your looking for that much power but its going to be very difficult to find a 4 channel amp that can:

1.) Produce the type of power you want.

2.) Do it at an acceptable price.

3.) Do it with an decent THD.

4.) Good specs you deem important.

Only amps I saw doing a quick search for them were the MTX Thunder 1004 (125x4@4), RF's you mentioned, and Visionik. I personally feel MTX's THD is unacceptable at

Unless you have a real important reason for needing that much power might i suggest a US Accoustics USB-4085. Its a great amp from what I have read, it will do 85w x 4 @ 4 ohms, has a THD of

If that one doesn't interest you I'd probably look into either of the RF's but at around $350-$400 they aren't exactly budget friendly.

Well I really need like 100rms x 4 but I want to just turn the gains down so I don't have to worry about clipping at all. I don't really feel like pushing an amp to its limits all the time is all.

I do actually usually keep the volume up all the way //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
