I've got 20 years on ya brother, and 450 watts into a single 10 is just barely adequate for meNow I'm looking at this wondering what a 52 year old man needs with two 10" subs in a foxbox.
Haaa,,I love it. Seems I found the right place then. I appreciate everyone's help. I have many more questions forthcoming.I've got 20 years on ya brother, and 450 watts into a single 10 is just barely adequate for me
I'd say you need a 100wrms. If you're careful with the gain 125-150wrms to those speakers. You can bridge the amp temporarily to the front/comps and see if you like that better.Greetings all. I have an Audiocontrol ACM 4.300 four way amp pushing 50 watt RMS a channel on Morel Maximo Ultra 602 mk2 components on passive crossover and coaxial. Speakers rated for 100w RMS. I feel like amp is underpowered. Would a 75w or 100w rms a channel make a huge difference or should I just be happy with what I have. Thanks for your suggestions or input. I’m new to car audio and learning my way as a plunge deeper into the rabbit hole.
72 years old, been installing car audio since 1968. Realistic 8-track decks and Jensen 6X9's baybee LOL.Move aside kids, 63 years old and running dual 33v2's, 13" Focal Polyglass drivers
Crutchfield shows them at $699. From the pics and drawings they look to have extremely sophisticated filter and crossover capabilities. I'd call it a high end offering.I found an A150.4 on Marketplace for $375. Guy is 20 minutes from me
