AMP Blown?

My amp will not take signal from my positive wire. When I don't have the don't have the positive wire attached to the amp I show the wire drawing 12 amps from the battery. But when I put the wire into the amp it doesn't show the positive wire drawing any amps. Has anyone had this problem before or know what could be causing it?

that would indicate an OPEN in the amplifier circuit, it's safe to say that the amplifier is blown if there's no current passing through it, lol //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
