I have a bazooka amp That keeps blowing fuses...not the fuse on the power wire...everytime i turn it on the two yellow fuses on the side of the amp blow within 5 seconds. a friend of mine told me that it has a short somewhere inside causing the fuses to blow...about how much will this cost to be fixed... and where can i go to have my amp serviced?

i just got this amp from a friend of mine...it worked properly in his car(until recently)he wanted a bigger amp to push his new 12's. when it started blowing fuses he sold it to me for $20. i already have a 600w amp on my 12's...so i got the bazooka amp to push my 6x9's

if the amp isnt under warrenty, open it up and take a peek at the circuit board. if you can find something burnt or melted that would be whats causing the problem. try removing whatever part it is and getting a new one at an electronic parts store. if you do so and it melts again, then pay to have it fixed. if its really worth it. bazooka products are shit anyway. especially those liquid cooled subs, no wonder they need liquid cooling, you plug em in and they explode. it uses the liquid to extinguish the fire.
