amp @ 2ohms w/ 4 ohm speakers???

i'm looking at an amp which i want to run a 2ohms for my speakers...but the speakers i want to get say that the impedance is 4 ohms...

does that mean i can only run my amp at 4 ohms???

The speakers are only 4 ohm so how could you run the amp at 2 ohm if the speakers have more resistence than that.

Get another set of 4 ohm speakers and wire the two sets in parallel.

Ok as stated above if you want to run your amp in 2ohm get another 4 ohm speaker wire it in parllell you can achieve this by wiring all the negitive terminals together and all the postive terminals toegther and bridge your amp this will create a 2ohm load on your amp.
