Amount of cu. ft. needed in my box???

Im getting 3 15" JBL DVC 4ohm subs.

All three subs are in a single ported encloser.

i read on the website im buying my subs from that for that type of sub, the ported box volume should be 3.50 cu. ft.

I should have at least 4.50 cu. ft. in my box, but PLEASE tell me that the cu. ft. recomendation means that:

1X15"s=3.50 cu. ft.

3X15"s=3.50 cu. ft.

If this is not correct, and 3X15"s=11.50 cu. ft. then I'm screwed and my box is worth sh*t : )

just wonderin' but yaaa, you're looking into a big *** box for somethin that may not be worth it...

how much power you doing??? look into some 12"s that match up and do like stronger dual 12's or something...
