AMM-1 Amp Dyno of the American Bass PH4000 MD

I almost ordered a Skar RP1500.1D to test, found a refurb for $139... Then I looked at it closer... Apparently the Skar RP1500.1D is the exact same board as the American Bass PH4000MD and the Massive N4, Skar just rated it a lot closer to what it actually does //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif So.. no need to test that one.

I have the following tests on deck:

Boss PH5000D (Filmed just needs to be edited and released)

Infinity REF 551A (Mostly Filmed)

Infinity REF 704A In house ready to be filmed

Wolfram 1500.1

Rockville Db16 (Rated 2000Wx1 RMS Cea at the Gramps ohm)

You buying all these amps or are they donated/borrowed?

If your worried what the 2 ohm rating is, just picker up a kicker KX amp, I tested the marine version at over 1200W. I have a Rockville DB16 inbound now rated at 2K @ 2ohms
yeah but the kicker is twice the $.. much rather have the ia10 but just because IA's do crazy power at .8 & 1/2 ohm don't do anything for me.. was debating getting hds3 d2 while on sale, i know peeps say they don't play deep but i don't need anything below 33hz, my fu plays deep rattles everything, just not killer spl at my power..

[quote name='los33']Phantom series is not there comp line what did you expect lol..

The vfl line which is near that 200 price tag can do 2k+ no issue.

The most hated vfl 4480 can be ran at .5 ohm and get some real power out of it.

@Hertz Mafia said that his buddy's ph4000 was way louder than his vfl 4480.1. This is also a consensus all over facebook as well from people that owned both. They are all the same exact boards same as the massive N4 all garbage.

But there was a test to prove that it did output more power then this amp, but as far as loudness goes i cant comment on that as i never used this amp.
