Hes not a douchbag really. Hes an awesome guy just told me im taking the easy way out. Me and him are good friends and shit hes just looking out for me as am I because i dont wanna quit without any pre notice and make it hard on the few people I do like there

I've been hearing the whole "stick it out, it'll be worth it" for just about a year now. don't let them fool you, but don't expect subway to be great, i mean you are still working fastfood at the mall so it's gonna **** no matter what.

I graduated at 17 and started full time driving a forklift. Got held back from a sales position and couldn't take it anymore after a year. My boss was a dick so I quit. It felt so good cause I kno they needed me. We used to unload trucks and then tag the material according to where it goes. Well everyone tagged the material cause it meant u got to sit upstairs doing paperwork but no one would go back and put the material where it needed to be. I always got stuck doing it and always got stuck overtime doing it too. They even switched my schedule without my consent. Don't stick it out, thats a managers job is to retain you. As much as he's cool, he's every bit as much of a manager haha and that can't change.

you already have a job at subway if you want it, so you don't need your current job as a reference.

and who cares if you screw over the manager for 3 or 4 days, because you've been getting screwed over for the last however long, most likely along with him so he's used to it.

but he's right, every place is going to be like that when you're young. you just have to deal with it. or find a job doing something you like.

its a job with a high turnover rate, leverage for people in your position is minimal. Time to start anew, just kiss *** and have a good reason for leaving. Try to get a great reference out of the deal. Look for something with more responsibility, put yourself in a position of streingth.
