i know posting ebay ads in the classifieds is against forum rules, go ahead and delete this if this also is.

i'm trying to sell my 15's on ebay, so i set the starting price at 230 with no reserve, with 2 items. i tried finding an answer on ebay but all i found was "dutch auctions" and i couldnt even figure out how to set up a dutch, from what i can tell thats only for buy it now. so if i get just one bidder, and he wins for say, 230 even, i'm only obligated to sell him one sub and not both right? i DEFINITELY don't want to end up selling both my 15's for 230 after i paid almost 700 for them. i don't really want to put them up for buy it now either.

you shouldnt have said auction is for one or both. Change it and say auction is for one 15" driver. I have another available for purchase for the winning auction amount if the winning bidder would so choose.

Also say "The sub is also for sale locally so I reserve the right to end the auction at any time." This way you can always take the subs off ebay if the bids aren't high enough for your taste.

well i started it at the minimum i'd want to take for it, 270 shipped, so if it gets a bid i'm happy.

now to sell both, i would need more than one bidder right, and the top 2 bids would get one each?

I believe you have to have a certain feedback number to be able to put up dutch auctions

No. When there is a winning bidder, he can choose to buy one or both at that price. If he buys one, I forget how it goes.
