I appreciate the support kman, but really my join date or post count doesn't make me right, or wrong. The only respect I feel Ive earned is from me taking time from my day to come here and try to help the topic. I think that earned being treated with respect, instead of hostility. But some people get mad if you dont give them the answer they are hoping to hear.

apparently all that doesn't matter as the OP still has yet to say thanks to either of us for spending way more time on this than we whould have. And you could be making lawyer/doctor rates for the consultation you have done. So I am going to stick with the "old timer" respect thing. OP is getting close to "punkhood" and need to learn some manners.

The funny part is Id like to be proven wrong, and someone find/post a link to them so the OP can get what he wants. Like I give a shit if Im wrong, omg my feelings would be crushed or something. But my post count and opinion on this particular topic seem to have become the topic of discussion instead.

you have not helped a single bit. you clearly stated you did not know what brand the box in the second pic was even though audiobahn has been clearly screened on it and the subs have it machined on the magnet.i have seen and held one and know for a fact they are aluminum.even though you "think" they are not. i also posted a link to a swiss audio box that has clearly written in the discription " spun aluminum venturis.

so yeah,you know how to read, you have been proven wrong, and i still lack to see how you have productivly hepled. and no the aluminum flare will not add any noise as it will be glued and screwed to the box and have a plastic tube slipped over the backside of it. so the metal will not have the ability to make any noise.

plus you stated i asked what to make it out of.where did i ask this. you still have yet to answer that. but you read my post .

Yes, the second pic is clearly audiobahn, duh? You've latched onto the idea I didnt know it was abahn, when it clearly says it is, because you misunderstood me way back on page one when I said "the second box I dont know who makes" as in Id already talked about the abahn box, and was now referring to the other box (second one I talked about, first pic). I have explained this already, and yet here you are STILL not getting it, and talking about MY reading comprehension. Get a clue.

As for the abahn box, I dont "think" its plastic, I "know" it is. Id be willing to bet Ive held, played with and thrown away more of those crappy boxes than you have.

Swiss Audio box, congrats, go buy one from them. Im sick of you being such an ahole becasuse you didnt like my answer. Im not surprised neither you nor psychoacoustics are big enough of a human being to apologize and just move on.
