I have to say the MTX comps are great. Ive only heard them powered by deck power and they still sound excellent, better then the infinity reference comps in my opinion.

MY opinion (don't hate!): i've installed that amp on a stock system and it ran fine... but it's BETTER to upgrade your alt, though probably not worth it with this amp

So is it safe to say that any amp that requires a 60 amp fuse will run fine on a stock 120 amp alternator? I still havent deciced whether I should get the Rockford P450.4 or the Infinity Reference 7541A, which both have the same fuse rating.

he said you get 11kw out of one amp... so i figured it out that if you where getting 11kw out of your 120 amp alt you'd have to be running 91.66 volts... now if you took what he said completely litterally (which is rediculous to do) and assumed that each of his 120 amps= 11kw then that would give you a grand total of 1320000 watts... and your sytem would be running 11000 volts!!! i did not say that his alt runs 12 volts... there is no way for me to determin wat his amp is running with the numbers he gave... could be 24v for all i know but i could fairly assume he wasn't running 91.6 volts, let alone 11000

Anyone who knew ANYTHING about this subject would not be trying to use 120 volts then shift the decimal place. Unless maybe they'd seen a 120volt example on GOOGLE and was trying their pea-brained best to extrapolate that to the 12volt field. Great try, pea-brain.
