i NEVER said it did... you are an ******* and TRYING to find things wrong that i say... i miss-placed a decimal... but you could've easily seen what i ment... and don't give me that bull shit about i ment to say amps when i clearly said volts...

he said you get 11kw out of one amp... so i figured it out that if you where getting 11kw out of your 120 amp alt you'd have to be running 91.66 volts... now if you took what he said completely litterally (which is rediculous to do) and assumed that each of his 120 amps= 11kw then that would give you a grand total of 1320000 watts... and your sytem would be running 11000 volts!!! i did not say that his alt runs 12 volts... there is no way for me to determin wat his amp is running with the numbers he gave... could be 24v for all i know but i could fairly assume he wasn't running 91.6 volts, let alone 11000

Now that were on the subject of alternators, I got a question to ask. My Chrysler Sebring has a stock 120 Amp alternator. I have a set of MTX components and I plan on buying a Rockford P450.5 amp to power them along with a 12 inch sub as well. I believe the P450.4 requires a 60 amp fuse, so would I have to upgrade my alternator?

MY opinion (don't hate!): i've installed that amp on a stock system and it ran fine... but it's BETTER to upgrade your alt, though probably not worth it with this amp
