i was thinking i should get a 140 amp alt,

get 1 or 2 more batterys for the back

and a 5 farad cap.

IS THIS TOO MUCH, not enough,

well i need the cap if i get the alt, can i run both any ways???

HELP PLEASE!!!!

the amp 20 audio bahn 1800 watt rms amp at 1 ohms. each has 5x30 amps fuses

anp im runing a mid high amp for my mids highs, 4x75W rms (2x30amp fuse)

Based on system watts, you should only need a high output alternator. Based on $ available I would get an alternator in the 180-200 amperage neighborhood, that way if you add more power later then you will not have to once again buy a new alternator.

Extra batteries are normally needed for listening with the engine off or a very very high wattage system. Caps are used to fix minor problems and are not normally needed if the alternator can provide enough amps.

140 is probably not enough since the jbl 1200.1 pulls over 100 amps at maximum use....you need to find out how many amps the car uses w/ all the bells and whistles going(heater, ac,headlights, windshieldwipers and anything else....) and add to that the amoung of amps the 3200w. are going to be drawing and that will help you decide how big of an alt to get....def. dont get the caps till u upgrade the alt....

The Kappa's have a high sensitivity rating of 93 db so the X802-5 would be fine. A good high sensitivity 8" sub in a properly sized box would fit...
