Alternators and bats

Tried getting ahold of mike over at singer alts. Been a week now. No response. Would love to run his alternators.

Anyways was looking into getting a 300+ amp alternator. And two batteries in the back.

What are some good brands and why would you choose them? I know there's dc mechman singer iraggi and excessive amperage. Which I have spoken to Nathan.

Also I was planing to run a few yellow tops because I am on a budget here. But I really want to run x's power. Was wondering if 2 d3100s or d3400s would be fine with a 300+ alt

Will be running around 6 to 7k watts rms

For batts go with duracell from sams. Alot stronger than the yellow tops and cost 170 for a group 31..its all i run and ur gona need 3 extra ones plus a agm under the hood to support 6-7k

Would be around 160 to 170. And should I just pm him? Last time I emailed mike I got a reply the same day about 2 years ago.

So 3 of those bats would support it? But if I wanted to get two d3400 xs powers would that support it?

I already have a red top under plus the big 3 all with zero gauge. Plus all zero gauge to the back to my car

Hellll no xs isnt a magical battery ...the 3400 is like half of a 3100 in which you would need 3 additional ontop of the one under the hood

And u will also need multiple runs of 1/0 from front to back at least 2 pos amd 2 neg runs

As said above Duracell from Sam's, die hard platinums from sears, or interstate. Me personally run interstate iirc mine coated a little over $160. XS power is nice but to support 7k with xs power it's going to run you in the thousands.

Singer. Mechnam. DC. All foot alts to choose from. It will come down to who has the size alternator you need/want. Cs from mechman is really good.

I have ran Singer and DC Power. Currently have a DC Power great on power good customer service, plus they are driving distance.

Was checking out the dual alt bracket kit with a 185 amp alt from dc power

Thinking about running all or the 185 to the back. Plus 4 or 5 of the SAMs

batteries.

Could even run a mechman 270. And construct a dual bracket at my shop I work at since we have all the machining tools to do so.
